We believe that every business-critical server should be well protected, so you can rely on high performance and consistent availability. Our engineers work with our clients to ensure that solid, dependable backup equipment and processes are in place.

However, we recognize that even the best, most well-maintained hardware backups leave a window of risk. Say, for example, that you run a backup every night. If a machine problem occurs in the middle of a business day, once your server is repaired and running again, you might have to start afresh from your last full backup, taken the night before.

This might not sound like a major problem, but it means that your staff might have to re-create and re-enter several hours of data... which can result in errors and omissions that cost money as well as confidence.

Peace of mind

Our recovery application, which works in tandem with traditional hardware backups, provides a reliable, recent restore point if a problem occurs. It mirrors the data that runs on your live server, maintaining a copy that runs only minutes behind. Should a machine problem occur, then, we can have you up and running again within minutes after the repair, with minimal data loss — and very little "catching up" for your staff to do.

Other benefits:

You can maintain a mirror at a different physical location, which helps protect business-critical data in case of a problem at the main server's location.
We can also set up the mirror to support complete failover.
