You can access the receiving functions in several places in the system, and by different means. Whatever type of inbound vessel your stock arrives on — a truck, a train, or some other vessel — your staff can quickly and efficiently let the system know that it has been received. If there are no problems, they can receive an entire order or even an entire inbound load at once.

The system can also help you prepare early for inbound shipments. For example, if you use receiving labels or worksheets, the system can print them ahead of time.

At the receiving stage you can also put additional charges or costs onto any goods that you bring in, and allocate them however you see fit.

Produce Pro facilitates meaningful, time-saving communication between members of your staff. For example, the system can send automatic e-mail notifications to buyers when different types of events occur in Receiving, such as when a received item or quantity differs from what was actually ordered.
